Virtual Communication Challenges

In today’s digital-centric work climate, individual contributors often grapple with the absence of in-person interaction benefits, which can hamper their ability to effectively communicate and engage with remote teams and clients. The nuances that foster connection and understanding in face-to-face settings are often lost in virtual environments, leading to communication breakdowns and a lack of engagement.

Mastering Virtual Presence

Imagine a scenario where professionals excel in their virtual interactions, effectively translating their presence over digital mediums. They engage confidently and authentically during web conferences, video chats, and virtual presentations, making every interaction impactful. Harnessing voice, pace, gesture, and virtual tools, they consistently create meaningful connections, ensuring their messages are not only delivered but resonate deeply with diverse audiences.

Our specialized training module on Presenting with Presence is designed to take your presentation to the next level. Through this program, participants will:

  • Be introduced to the Signals of Personal Presence: Participants learn and practice the behaviours they can dial up or dial down depending on their goals and the needs of their audience.
  • Learn how to Command a Room: Participants learn the “High Presence Welcome” technique of commanding a room and setting the right tone. They then field improvised questions, using the presence of the “Expert” to handle a Q & A with confidence while maintaining a connection with the audience
  • Communicate with Passion and Purpose: Participants work in pairs to rehearse and perform a theatrical monologue, applying the skills learned earlier. The monologues stretch their level of expressiveness and challenge them to authentically connect with the audience.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Present themselves and their ideas with greater confidence and credibility in a variety of business settings
  • Use words, body, voice, and facial expression with intention to communicate business messages
  • Leverage specific aspects of their personal presence through an action plan for continued development
  •  skills are refined and ready for professional application.
